The dress code for White Shoes is business attire. We recommend bringing a jacket or a sweater, as the conference rooms are often kept at a lower temperature.

Similar to Awards Weekend 2022, the Infection Prevention and the White Shoes planning committees have teamed up to make sure COVID-related safety is top priority during our time together in Wilmington and Greensboro.

Here is a list of what we plan on implementing during White Shoes to keep you safe. *More detailed information will be provided as we get closer to October:

  • BAYADA’s Infection Prevention team will be onsite to provide support for any COVID-19 situations or questions.
  • Daily screening will be required.
  • Testing will be required:
    • Before leaving for White Shoes (this prevents unknowingly positive attendees from having to travel)
    • Every 24 hours while onsite (tests will be available onsite)
    • Before returning to the office following White Shoes
  • Masking is strongly recommended for the entire event. If the session locations are determined to have “High” community levels of COVID-19 per the CDC at the time of White Shoes, use of a surgical mask at all times will become required. Masks will be available onsite.
  • Similar to the CDC’s return-to-work guidelines, attendees who have received a COVID-19 booster shot have fewer restrictions post-exposure. While we respect each employee’s right to choose, we encourage the COVID-19 vaccine and booster. As a reminder, to be considered “up to date” on your vaccinations per the CDC, you must have completed your primary series of vaccine and received at least one booster dose. If you are not “up to date” and are exposed to COVID-19 at any point while onsite, you will not be able to attend any BAYADA-sponsored events.
    • If you have received any dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, please log into Workday, and make sure your vaccination status is updated. We will rely on Workday vaccination status when determining next steps post-exposure at White Shoes. For a refresher on how to enter vaccination information in Workday, click here
  • For the utmost safety for all attendees, employees who experience any symptom of COVID-19 while at White Shoes will be asked to refrain from attending BAYADA-sponsored events for the remainder of the event.
  • We will follow any COVID-related requirements set forth by the states of Delaware and North Carolina, the cities of Wilmington and Greensboro, or the convention centers at the time of White Shoes.

*Note that this list is subject to change in alignment with CDC guidance as we get closer to October.
