Our Approach: 

While we would love to accommodate all Awards Weekend attendees at the same hotel, due to the size of our group (3,000+), we need to rely on multiple hotels in Center City Philadelphia. Shuttle services for main events will be communicated to attendees as needed. 

Registrants have the opportunity to select their preferred hotel. We've learned from feedback that supplemental hotels offer a variety of team-friendly amenities, including ease of check in, short elevator lines, access to restaurants, shopping, and attractions, and a more laid-back experience for those looking to recharge and refresh away from the crowds.

Please note that our goal for 2024 hotel assignments will be to prioritize the following at the Philadelphia Marriott:

• Roommates
• Our hardworking volunteers
• Our National Heroes and their guests
• 2023 Top Dove Offices of the Year
• 10+ Years of Service recipients
• Excellence Award nominees
• International attendees  
• Time-stamped registration (ie, first come, first serve) 

Please know, we do whatever we can to accommodate the 3,000+ attendees to ensure everyone has a remarkable experience. Employees will be advised of their hotel designation in advance. 

Hotel Charges: BAYADA covers the cost for all registered employee hotel stays on 5/3 and 5/4 at our contracted hotels, but you are not required to stay if you live in the Philadelphia area. (Upon check-in, your credit card will be required for incidental charges. Please note: the use of a debit card at check-in will result in a temporary hold of funds until check-out.) Additional night stays resulting from required meetings (eg, all directors) will also be covered. All additional night stays that are not required to attend Awards Weekend will be charged back to the respective employee’s office, and you will be responsible to reimburse your office. The room rate is on average $270.00 plus taxes per night.

Room Accommodations: BAYADA roommates will be given priority for double rooms (2 beds), should the need arise. Philadelphia Marriott Downtown limits double rooms to four people and does not have roll-away beds.

Roommate Stipend: BAYADA employees who share a room with another BAYADA employee(s) that includes a Saturday stay for all roommates will be eligible to receive compensation (taxable). The payment will be included with your paycheck within 2 weeks of the event. (Please note, this incentive is no longer distributed in the form of cash at the Welcome Desk and is subject to applicable federal, state, and local payroll taxes.)

• 2 BAYADA Roommates: $75.00 each
• 3 BAYADA Roommates: $100.00 each
• 4 BAYADA Roommates: $125.00 each

Each BAYADA employee must register and check-in/out of the hotel, even if sharing a room with another BAYADA employee.

Roommate Check-In/Out: Each roommate must check-in/out of the hotel at the front desk; you may not go directly to your room even if you know one of your roommates already checked in (in the past, we’ve been charged a no-show fee for failure to check in). Your hotel registration will be listed under the roommate whose name is first in the alphabet if all roommate check-in and check-out dates are the same. If not, the reservation will be made under the name of the roommate who will arrive first. A valid form of photo identification is required at check-in.
